What is Coronavirus?

Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that cause diseases in mammals, including humans, and birds. In humans, the virus causes respiratory infections which are typically mild but, in rare cases, can be lethal. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that can cause respiratory illnesses such as the common cold, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In some cases, the viruses can cause lower-respiratory tract illnesses such as pneumonia and bronchitis.

What are the symptoms?

Symptoms of the Coronavirus may include: 

  • runny nose
  • headache
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • fever
  • a general feeling of being unwell.

Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds The amount of time is important. Try not to touch anything in the area of the sink except a towel. Turn water off with paper towel. Open door with paper towel.  Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
